An original oil on canvas folk art portrait by Suzy Aalund (American, 1933-2016), depicting a young girl in a puffed-sleeve red dress holding two cloth dolls, painted in Massachusetts in the late 20th century in Aalund’s distinctive American naive style. Presented with a patterned gold mat border in a black wood frame. Frame shows light handling wear consistent with storage; canvas itself is clean. Companion piece (“Portrait of a Boy with a Toy Noah’s Ark”) sold separately.
