Two complete sets of twelve Chinese Zodiac medallions, each animal rendered in relief across the coins, presented in a fitted mahogany-toned wood case with a two-tier lift-out tray and brass hinge hardware. The coins alternate in finish between warm gold-tone and bright silver, each seated in its own red velvet-lined compartment and still tied with the original thread ties, suggesting these have rarely left the case. The case shows honest signs of age with some scuffing to the lacquered finish and mirror lining, but the tray mechanism and clasps remain functional — a solid, display-ready set for a collector of Chinese coinage or zodiac-themed curios.
