Description
Antique Chinese silk embroidered sleeve panel from a robe, likely late Qing Dynasty, with complex scenic embroidery. Framed at Charles Ricks Azalea Studio, Valdosta, Georgia (mid-to-late 20th century). Documented family provenance: a handwritten note on the frame back reads “Uncle Herbert brought these home from China. They were sleeves of a robe.” Comparable verified late-Qing embroidered panels have sold on curated antiques platforms for $1,000-$1,900+.
