Description
Presented in a red silk-brocade box with matching gold-tone interior, this set of three brass spoon-and-chopstick pairs shows the warm, hand-buffed patina of genuine use rather than factory shine. Each chopstick and spoon handle carries a matching band of small etched roundel motifs picked out in black enamel, a nice touch of consistency across all three sets, and the spoons have that gently hammered, slightly uneven bowl shape typical of hand-finished brassware. The box itself bears a printed maker’s stamp and Korean text on the lid interior, and shows some general wear and softening to the silk covering consistent with age; the metal pieces remain sturdy and fully usable. A handsome grouping for anyone building out an Asian tableware collection or simply wanting a complete boxed set with real history to it.
